Hillcrest Mennonite Church is looking to hire a pastor for our two person pastoral team. This position is currently set at .8 FTE although this is somewhat negotiable.

In recent years, Christian formation has become increasingly central to the congregation's work and life together. We believe that faith is formed at all ages and stages in life through the story of Jesus and our life together as a community of faith. We understand Christian formation to be the call to ongoing openness to God's influence and direction.

With this formational perspective in mind, we find ourselves asking new questions as we plan program. Leadership agrees that the pastoral candidate would support and further this vision as well as offer resources to equip congregational ministry.

Responsibilities would also include other pastoral duties such as regular preaching, visitation, pastoral support, participating in various ministry teams, etc.
