Written on their Hearts: A conversation about faith shaping and tending

I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (Jeremiah 31: 33)

Calling all Congregational leaders from the MCEC Clusters who are about the tasks of forming faith at all ages (children, youth, young adult and adult). Space for 4-5 persons per congregation who tend faith across the ages

Reflect, storytell, and listen to how faith is shaped and tended in our particular faith communities.

Come prepared to:

  • share the stories of what is and is not working in your congregation.
  • listen to the stories of others.
  • engage scripture, reflect and pray together

 


The faith formation structures of the past have served us well. However, we're becoming increasingly aware of their limits as we seek to shape and tend faith today. During this conversation time we will ponder what we need to let go of, as well as what we need to pay attention to as new ways of shaping faith are emerging amongst MCEC congregations.
