Speak Lord, For Your Church Is Listening
A Series of Consultations Engage MCEC in Discernment

Did you participate in the recent consultation meetings? Learn more about the marathon of consultation meetings recently held across MCEC by the Executive Council and Leadership Team as MCEC came together in discernment.

"This is a critical juncture for us,” David Martin, MCEC Executive Minister reports. “There was a sense that these conversations were holy conversations as together we discern how to extend Christ’s peace into a new era of ministry.”

Washing With The Mennonites

Experience the heart-felt reflections from Bishop Michael J. Pryse, Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada as he spent a Good Friday with his father-in-law at Floradale Mennonite Church.

"Most moving to me was our participation in the ritual of footwashing - to share such a tender and holy moment with my father-in-law who I have come to love so deeply..."

Find out more about the Service of Reconciliation between the Lutherans and Mennonites taking place November 25 and 26, cosponsored by Conrad Grebel University College and Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. Be a part of this historical event of reconciliation.

"It is important for Mennonites to respond graciously to this apology and my hope is that a number of you will be able to attend the Service of Reconciliation and Conference and Conversation." David Martin, MCEC Executive Minister.
